Pay by Individual - Messaging: Product Guide
The Pay by Individual feature for messaging allows companies to delegate messaging costs to individual team members. This feature provides flexibility for organizations to manage expenses while empowering team members to take ownership of their messaging activities.
Purpose
The Pay by Individual feature lets companies:
- Control Spending: Decide which team members will use the company wallet and who will manage their own expenses for messaging.
- Empower Team Members: Allow individuals to track their spending with access to detailed invoices and reload logs.
How It Works
1. Updating Existing Team Members
To switch an existing team member to Pay by Individual for messaging:
- Go to My Team.
- Click the three dots next to the user in the list view and select Edit.
- Under the Pay by Individual option, select Messaging.
- Click Update to apply the change.
2. Inviting New Team Members
To onboard a new team member with Pay by Individual:
- Navigate to My Team and click +User.
- Fill in all required fields and select Messaging under Pay by Individual.
- Click Save to send the invitation.
What Team Members Need to Do
For New Users:
- An invitation email will be sent with a link.
- Follow the link to complete onboarding by providing necessary details, including card information.
For Existing Users:
- Existing team members will receive an email notification about the change.
- Upon logging in, they will be prompted to provide their State, Zip Code, and Card Details.
Managing Payments and Wallet Details
Once set up, team members can:
- Access card information under My Profile → Billing Info → Payment Method.
- View wallet reloads, logs, and invoices in the Billing Info section.
- Choose between Auto-Reload (recommended for uninterrupted campaigns) or Manual Reload (requires monitoring wallet balance).
