The integration of MLOFLO with Informative Research (IR) enables processors to retrieve borrowers' credit reports and liability information directly within MLOFLO, streamlining the loan processing workflow.
Setting Up Informative Research Services in MLOFLO
To enable Informative Research services in MLOFLO, follow the detailed steps below:
Step 1: Login to MLOFLO
- Open the MLOFLO application and log in using your credentials.
Step 2: Access the Settings
- Locate the Settings option from the sidebar menu on the left side of the dashboard.
Step 3: Navigate to Services
- After opening the Settings, click on the Services tab located at the top of the page.
Step 4: Add a New Credit Agency
- Under the CREDIT AGENCY section, you will see a + Credit Agency button on the right side. Click on it.
Step 5: Enter the Details for the New Agency
- Fill in the following information provided by Informative Research (these details will be given to you by Informative Research and not by MLOFLO):
- Select Interface Type: Choose Informative Research from the dropdown list.
- Username: Enter the username provided by Informative Research.
- Password: Enter the corresponding password.
- Client Identifier: Input the Client Identifier as supplied by Informative Research.
Step 6: Save the Details
- Once all the details are filled in, click on the Save button to store the information.
Step 7: Manage the Credit Agency
- After saving, the new agency will appear under the CREDIT AGENCY section with the following columns:
- Credit Agency
- Soft Pull
- Hard Pull
- Added On
- Action
- You will have the option to Edit or Delete the agency settings using the action buttons in the respective columns.
Important Note:
- Username, Password, and Client Identifier are provided by Informative Research and must be obtained directly from them.
By following these steps, you can successfully set up Informative Research services in MLOFLO.
Step-by-Step Guide for Pulling Credit Reports:
1. Navigate to the Borrower Profile in MLOFLO:
- Log in to your MLOFLO account.
- Go to the Pipeline section from the sidebar.
- From the top menu, select Leads/Loans
- Choose the specific lead (borrower) for whom you want to pull the credit report.
- In the borrower’s profile, locate and click on the Services section.
2. Access Credit Services:
- In the Services section of the borrower’s application, you will see an option for Credit Report.
- Click on the Send button in this section to initiate the credit report request process.
3. Enter Credit Report Details:
- In the Credit Pull form, fill in the following fields:
- Select one of the option Hard Pull or Soft Pull.
- Credit Agency: Select Informative Research from the dropdown list.
- Credit Report (Borrower Name): Confirm the name of the borrower whose report you are pulling.
- Report Type: Select the credit bureau from which the report will be pulled:
- Experian
- TransUnion
- Equifax
- Request Type: Choose one of the following options:
- New Request: To generate a fresh credit report.
- Re-order: To re-pull a previously generated credit report.
- After entering the details, click on Send Request to submit the credit report request.
4. Manage Liabilities Report:
- Once the credit report is generated, you will receive a Liabilities Report. This report provides a breakdown of the borrower’s liabilities, including the following columns:
- Account Type
- Company Name
- Account Number
- Balance
- Payoff Status
- Monthly Payment
- Borrowers
- From this list, you can select the specific liabilities you wish to include in the final credit report.
- After selecting the relevant liabilities, click Save to finalize the report.
5. Generate and View the PDF Report:
- After the report has been saved, a PDF version of the credit report for both the applicant and the co-applicant (if applicable) is generated0. The PDF is sent by the Informative Research along with Credit scores and liabilities.
- To view or download the credit report:
- Navigate back to the Services section under the borrower’s application.
- Here, you will see the newly generated report, along with the option to View and Download the PDF.
6. View Credit Report Details in MLOFLO:
In the Credit Report section of the borrower’s profile, the following columns will be displayed:
- Credit Agency: The credit agency used to pull the report (e.g., Informative Research).
- Borrower Name: Name of the borrower for whom the report was generated.
- Credit Score: The credit score as reported by the selected credit agency.
- Decision Score: This is not an additional score sent by Informative Research; it is calculated within MLOFLO based on the credit score.
- Request Type: Whether the request was a New Request or a Re-order. In Informative Research, Re-order refers to a Re-issue of the report.
- Type: The type of credit report pulled (Experian, TransUnion, or Equifax).
- Reference Number: The unique reference number for the credit report.
- Request Time: The timestamp when the credit report was requested.
- Status: Current status of the report request (e.g., Completed, Pending).
- PDF: A link to download or view the credit report as a PDF.
- Action: The only available option is to Re-import the liabilities. There are no options to manage or delete the report.
7. Download the Credit Report PDF:
To download the credit report PDF:
- In the Credit Report section, locate the specific report you wish to download.
- Click on the PDF column to view or download the report directly to your system.
By following these steps, you can successfully pull, manage, and download credit reports for both the borrower and co-applicant using Informative Research in MLOFLO.
Mandatory Fields for Informative Research (IR) within the Application Section of the Borrower in MLOFLO
When pulling credit reports using Informative Research (IR) within the Application Section of the Borrower in MLOFLO, the following fields are mandatory. Ensure all required information is accurately provided before submitting a credit report request.
Mandatory Fields:
- First Name: Enter the borrower’s first name in the Application section.
- Last Name: Enter the borrower’s last name.
- Mailing Address: Ensure the borrower’s mailing address is correctly entered.
- Current Address: Input the borrower’s current address.
- Zip Code (Mandatory for all addresses): The zip code is required for both the mailing address and the current address.
- Birth Date: Provide the borrower’s date of birth.
- Email: Enter the borrower’s valid email address.
- Social Security Number (SSN) : The borrower’s SSN must be provided to pull the credit report.
These fields must be completed accurately in the Borrower Application section of MLOFLO before initiating a credit pull through Informative Research. Incomplete or incorrect data may prevent the successful submission of a credit report request.
